NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- Looking to end the regular season on a winning note, Niagara University women’s basketball team (13-15, 5-12) meets cross-town rival Canisius College (16-12, 8-9) today in the annual Battle of the Bridge in the Koessler Athletic Center in Buffalo, N.Y.

The Purple Eagles lost their third-straight game with a 78-65 loss at Siena College Friday.

The Golden Griffins won their fourth-straight contest, upsetting Loyola College, 63-59, in Baltimore Friday.

Niagara trails 38-29 in the all-time series with Canisius.
