BALTIMORE, Md. - The volleyball team (6-17, 4-10 MAAC) ended the weekend with a .500 record after dropping a straight-set match to Loyola (19-10, 10-4 MAAC), 30-20, 30-26, 30-20 on Sunday. The Greyhounds out hit Niagara .257 to .063 in the win.

Seniors Maurin Lawrence (Corfu, N.Y.) and Raelean Rush (Amherst, N.Y.) and Nicole Piette (Lockport, N.Y.) each recorded nine kills in the loss.

Senior Mallory Boron (Lockport, N.Y.) dished out 32 assists, while Rush had a team-high nine digs.

The Purple Eagles return home to host a pair of MAAC matches against Marist and Siena, Nov. 3-4 at 2 p.m.
