NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- Looking to earn a split on its two-game road swing, the Niagara University women’s basketball team (11-9, 3-6) has an opportunity to move up when it faces league-leader Marist College (16-4, 9-0) for a second time this season today at 2 p.m. in the McCann Center.
The Purple Eagles lost their second consecutive road game Friday, falling 81-70 at Fairfield.
Marist enters the game on a seven-game winning streak after beating Siena, 58-46, Friday. The win kept the Red Foxes undefeated at home at 8-0.
Niagara leads the all-time series, 12-9.
