NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- Throw the records out the window and buckle the seat belts as the Niagara University women’s basketball team (10-8, 2-5) hosts cross-town rival Canisius College (11-7, 3-4) tonight at 7 p.m. in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast tape delay on Time Warner Cable and live on Niagara’s official athletic web site, PurpleEagles.com.

The Purple Eagles look to return to the win column after losing its last outing, at Loyola Jan. 19, 91-53.

Canisius will also be looking for a win after losing at Siena, 64-54, Jan. 19.

The Golden Griffins lead the all-time series, 38-28.
