NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- Looking to return to the win column, the Niagara University women’s basketball team (10-7, 2-4) takes to the road to meet Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponent Loyola College (9-7, 4-2) Friday at 7 p.m. in Reitz Arena.
The Purple Eagles had their modest two-game winning streak snapped with a hard-fought 65-52 loss to first place Marist College Jan. 14.
Loyola has won five of its last six games and brings a two-game winning streak into Friday’s contest. It won its seventh road game of the season with a 71-54 win at Siena Jan. 14.
Loyola leads the all-time series, 24-11.
