NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Riding a modest three-game winning streak, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (4-6) continues its five-game road swing at the La Salle Explorer Classice in Philadelphia, Pa., this weekend. The Purple Eagles and the Delaware Fightin’ Hens (0-9) meet first at 8 p.m. Thursday.

The game can be heard live on WJJL (1440 AM) and on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com.

The Purple Eagles won their third consecutive game and second-straight road contest with an 80-73 win at Central Michigan Dec. 23.

Delaware will be looking for its first win of the season after losing, 74-64, at UNC Greensboro Dec. 23.

Saturday’s game is the first meeting between the two teams.
