NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- The Niagara University women’s basketball team (4-1) concludes its short two-game road swing when it meets Big East foe Syracuse University (1-3) Sunday at noon in the Carrier Dome.

The game will have live radio available on Niagara’s official athletics web site, PurpleEagles.com.

The Purple Eagles suffered their first loss of the season and had its four-game winning streak snapped when it lost 58-41 at Duquesne Wednesday.

The Orange enter the game on a two-game losing streak after losing to Saint Peter’s, 58-52, Wednesday.

Sunday’s meeting is the10th meeting between the two teams, and the Orange has a 6-3 lead.
