NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- Protecting a four-game winning streak, the Niagara University women’s basketball team (4-0) begins a two-game road swing Wednesday when it travels to Pittsburgh, Pa., to take on Duquesne University (1-1) at 3:30 p.m. in the Palumbo Center.

The game will have live stats available and can be heard live on Niagara’s official athletics web site, PurpleEagles.com.

The Purple Eagles are off to the program’s fourth-best start after beating the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore, 70-54, Nov. 19.

Duquesne has split its two games this season, losing to Pittsburgh, 61-56, Nov. 19.

Wednesday’s meeting is the ninth meeting between the two teams, and the Dukes hold a 7-2 lead.
