NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – In its final home weekend of the season, the Niagara University volleyball team (4-18, 2-13) hosts Siena College (15-12, 11-3) Saturday at noon and Marist College (8-15, 6-8) Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Purple Eagles look to end a three-match losing streak and win their fourth and fifth home matches of the season. 
Sophomore Nicole Piette (Lockport, N.Y./Lockport) leads the team in hitting percentage (.223), is second in kills per game (2.73) and third in blocks per game (0.57). Junior Raelean Rush (Amherst, N.Y./Sweet Home) averages a squad-leading 2.93 kills per game and is second in digs per game (3.53).
Defensively, senior Annie Wachob (Buffalo, N.Y./Mount St. Mary’s) tops the squad with 48 blocks, including 11 solo blocks. Junior Sara Mancini (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) leads the team in digs per game (4.74).
Siena sits in third place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings behind Fairfield University and Canisius College. The Saints had their three-match winning streak snapped last weekend when they lost in three games to the Stags.
Christie Gustafson leads the team in kills, averaging 3.78 per game. Burgandy McCurty has a team-best .378 hitting percentage and a team-leading 63 blocks. Setter April London averages 11.74 assists per game and Kaui Robello is averaging 3.10 digs a game.
Marist comes into the weekend having won four of its last five games. The Red Foxes meet Hartford Tuesday and Canisius Saturday before playing on Monteagle Ridge.
The Red Foxes are in fifth place in the MAAC and is led by Sally Hanson with a team-best hitting percentage (.295). Jaime Kenworthy is averaging a squad-best 3.49 kills.
In the first meetings this season, Niagara lost in three at Siena and in five at Marist.
