BALTIMORE, Md. – Senior Annie Wachob (Buffalo, N.Y./Mount St. Mary’s) recorded a career-high 16 kills, but it wasn’t enough as the Niagara University volleyball team (3-14, 1-9) lost 25-30, 25-30, 30-24, 21-30 to Loyola College (6-16, 4-4) Saturday afternoon in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action in Reitz Arena.

In addition to Wachob, freshman Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) and junior Raelean Rush (Amherst, N.Y./Sweet Home) registered double figures in kills with 14 and 11, respectively. Junior Mallory Boron (Lockport, N.Y./Starpoint) collected 54 assists.
Defensively, Rush posted her fourth 20-plus dig game with a career-high 24. Senior Jessica Piscitelli (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) had 17 digs and junior Sara Mancini (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) added 14.
