NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- The Niagara University women’s basketball team (1-11, 0-3) looks to earn a split of this week’s games when it hosts Siena College (6-6, 2-1) at 2 p.m. Saturday in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.
The Purple Eagles enter the game on a nine-game losing streak after dropping their third-straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game of the season Friday. They lost 70-50 to league-leading Marist.
After being blown out by 28 points with an 80-52 loss at Canisius on Friday, Siena will be looking for a win to end it mini two-game losing streak.
