NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – The Niagara University volleyball team (6-5) snapped a four-match losing streak with a 30-28, 27-30, 30-24, 30-22 victory over St. Francis (Pa.) Friday night in the Red Flash Invitational in the Stokes Athletics Center.
Seniors Michelle LeSouder (Stratford, Ont.) and Stephanie Hopkins (Tonawanda, N.Y./Sweet Home) both collected 11 kills. Niagara dug a season-high 108 attacks in the match and was led by senior libero Micole Daluisio (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) with a match-high 32. Hopkins added 25 digs, senior Erin Graham (Oakville, N.Y.) 20 digs and senior setter Jennifer Hansford (Stratford, Ont.) had 12 digs and 25 assists.
Niagara returns to action Saturday when it plays Robert Morris at 11 a.m. and Coppin State at 4 p.m.
