The Niagara University women’s basketball team (1-5, 0-0) continues its brutal six-game road swing with stops at Fairfield University (2-3, 0-0) on Friday and at Manhattan College on Sunday (3-3, 0-0). Game times are 6:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. at Arena at Harbor Yard and Draddy Gym, respectively.
The Purple Eagles are in eighth place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings and are entering their 17th season as a member.
The Purple Eagles will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak after suffering a 70-64 loss at St. Bonaventure Dec. 6.
Fairfield enters the game on a losing note after dropping a 71-48 game to Hartford on Tuesday.
Manhattan also lost to Hartford in its last outing, 79-43, on Dec. 4.
