Two teams looking to snap extended losing streaks tip off tonight when the Niagara University women’s basketball team (1-8) plays Colgate University (1-8) at 7 p.m. in Cotterell Court.
In the midst of a brutal six-game road swing, the Purple Eagles will try to end a six-game losing streak and win their second contest of the season. Niagara lost its most recent outing at then-No. 24 Boston College, 101-49, Dec. 21.
The Red Raiders are also searching to end their six-game losing streak after losing at Binghamton, 82-61, Dec. 19.
This evening’s game is the 34th meeting between the two teams.
