NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (1-0) opens its 57th season in the legendary "Taps" Gallagher Center when it plays Little Three rival St. Bonaventure University (1-0) in front of a sold-out crowd Monday at 7 p.m.

The game can be heard live on WJJL (1440 AM) and on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com, and be seen tape delayed on Adelphia Channel 13.

Both the Purple Eagles and the Bonnies are coming off season-opening wins. Niagara beat Binghamton, 71-56, while St. Bonaventure defeated Robert Morris, 80-61.
