NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- Looking to snap its longest losing streak of the season, Niagara University (11-6, 6-2) hosts Saint Peter’s College (7-10, 3-5) and Marist College (11-6, 5-3) this weekend in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.
The Purple Eagles look to sweep the series with the Peahens on Friday at 7 p.m. and meet the Red Foxes for the first time this year at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Niagara has dropped its last two games, including a 71-55 loss at Loyola on Jan. 22, but it has won seven of eight games in the Gallagher Center this season.
Saint Peter’s is on a modest two-game winning streak after beating Iona, 95-85, on Tuesday.
Marist has a five-game winning streak, longest in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, after defeating Manhattan, 59-57, on Monday.
