NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- The Niagara University women’s basketball team (11-7, 5-4) will play its biggest game to date when it hosts first place Marist (12-7, 8-2) tonight at 7 p.m. in the Gallagher Center.
The Purple Eagles are currently in a two-way tie for second place with Canisius. Both teams are two games back of Marist.

Marist is riding a four-game winning streak into the Gallagher Center. The Red Foxes won at Rider, 74-65, Jan. 31.
Friday’s game is the 15th meeting between the two teams with Niagara holding a six-game lead, 10-4, in the all-time series.
The game will not be televised but can be heard live on WJJL (1440 AM) or on Niagara University’s official website at www.PurpleEagles.com.
