NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (15-8, 9-5) begins its last two-game home stand Thursday when it hosts Loyola (1-22, 1-13) at 7 p.m. in the Gallagher Center.
The Purple Eagles enter the contest on a losing note after dropping a 70-65 game at Fairfield on Monday. The loss has Niagara in a three-way tie for third place with Fairfield and Rider.
Loyola lost its 22nd game of the season Feb. 12 with it fell at Siena, 77-67. The Greyhounds have lost their last four games and will be looking for just their second win of the season Thursday.
Niagara leads the all-time series with Loyola, 21-11. The Purple Eagles have won the last 12 games vs. the Greyhounds.
