NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (4-2) plays its final non-conference home game when it hosts Yale University (2-4) Wednesday in the Gallagher Center at 7 p.m.

The Purple Eagles bring a five-game home winning streak into the game. Niagara had its four-game winning streak snapped with a 97-89 loss at Loyola on Dec. 5.

Senior Juan Mendez led four players in double figures with a team-high 20 points and game-high 13 rebounds.

Yale will be playing for its second road victory of the season. The Bulldogs lost their home opener in overtime, 73-65, to Bucknell on Dec. 4.
