NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (4-1, 1-0) concludes its two-game road swing when it travels to Baltimore, Md., to play Loyola College (0-5, 0-1) in Reitz Arena at 5 p.m. Sunday.
The Purple Eagles bring a four-game winning streak into the game. Their most recent victory was an 87-82 victory over cross-town rival Canisius in both team’s conference opener Wednesday.
Senior Juan Mendez led four players in double figures with a game-high 30 points.
Loyola will be looking for its first win of the season after dropping its conference opener to Saint Peter’s, 99-83, Thursday.
