NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- The Niagara University women’s basketball team (6-4) plays its final non-conference game of the season when it travels to West Point, N.Y., for a 1 p.m. game vs. Army (5-4) on New Year’s Eve Day in Christl Arena.
The Purple Eagles extended their home-winning streak to five games with a 99-76 victory over Colgate Tuesday.
Senior Eva Cunningham led five Purple Eagles in double figures with a game-high 23 points.
Army enters the contest with a three-game home winning streak, but is coming off a 55-44 loss at Robert Morris on Tuesday.
