NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. -- The Niagara University women’s basketball team (5-4) puts a four-game home winning streak on the line when it concludes its home non-conference schedule with a 7 p.m. game vs. Colgate (3-7) Tuesday at the legendary Gallagher Center.

The Purple Eagles had their four-game winning streak snapped with a 71-42 loss at Oakland Dec. 19.

Senior Eva Cunningham and sophomore Toni Smalley were the only Purple Eagles to score in double digits.

Colgate enters the contest on a two-game losing streak. The Raiders have lost seven of their last nine games, including two at the Central Florida Holiday Tournament Dec. 18-19.
