Men's Basketball Meets St. Bonaventure in a Little Three Tilt Monday


Senior David Brooks has posted back-to-back 20-plus point games in his last two outings.

NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (5-3) continues a three-game road swing Monday when it meets Little Three rival St. Bonaventure (0-6) in the Reilly Center at 7 p.m.

The Purple Eagles lost their third road contest of the season with a 95-92 double-overtime loss at Buffalo on Dec. 11.

Senior Juan Mendez led four players in double figures with a game-high 33 points.

St. Bonaventure will be looking for its first win of the season in the Reilly Center. The Bonnies have lost twice at home and are winless on the season. They play at Arkansas-Little Rock on Friday.
