NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – The Niagara University volleyball team (4-15, 2-2) lost its second-straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match of the weekend, falling 25-30, 10-30, 30-26, 25-30, to Iona College (12-13, 4-0) Sunday in New Rochelle, N.Y.
The Purple Eagles were led by juniors Erin Graham (Oakville, N.Y.) and Michelle LeSouder (Stratford, Ont.) with 15 kills each. Graham added 18 digs and classmate Micole Daluisio (Lancaster, N.Y.) also had 18 digs.
Niagara hit .213 for the match and had 24 block assists.
The Purple Eagles return to action Oct. 30 when they host Manhattan at 1 p.m. in the Gallagher Center.
