NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (6-2) plays its final game of 2003 when it travels to New Britain, Conn., to take on Central Connecticut State (2-2) Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. in Derrick Gym.
The Purple Eagles had their two-game winning streak snapped, suffering their second loss of the season, a 69-67 decision on Dec. 22 in the Gallagher Center.
Central Connecticut enters with a 2-2 record. The Blue Devils, who have played once in the last 20 days, lost their first road game of the season when Providence beat them 72-67.
