NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- After suffering its first defeat of the season, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (4-1) looks to right its ship when it completes a two-game home stand in the friendly confines of the Gallagher Center vs. St. Bonaventure (3-3) Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Purple Eagles had their four-game winning streak and seven-game home winning streak snapped when they lost to Big Four opponent Buffalo, 81-79, Dec. 13 in the Gallagher Center.
St. Bonaventure enters the game after snapping a three-game losing streak when it beat Iona, 65-62, Dec. 10 in Olean.
The game will be televised tape delay by Adelphia Cable and be rebroadcast Dec. 20 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Dec. 21 at 3:30 p.m. on Channel 13. The game can also be heard live on WJJL (1440 AM) or on the Niagara website at www.PurpleEagles.com.
