Andreea Peteu is a two-time All-MAAC selection in singles. She was named to the All-MAAC Second Team in No. 2 singles in 2018. Peteu led the 2017-18 Purple Eagles in singles wins during the regular season with 14 victories in her first season as a Purple Eagle. Peteu won 10 out of 22 matches playing No. 2 singles. In MAAC action, Peteu went 5-2 playing in the two slot which were the second most wins in No. 2 singles.

The next season, she earned All-MAAC Second Team honors in No. 3 singles. She went 4-2 in MAAC matches with all four wins coming in the three spot, and concluded the season winning five of her last six matches. 

Her most memorable moment was competing in the USTA/ITA Regionals in 2017. Peteu was an active member of SOAR 40:31 on campus and plans to be involved with Cru, which is a Christian organization, to do ministry work to serve the people in her native Romania 

Peteu was a two-time MAAC All-Academic, MAAC Academic Honor Roll member, and ITA Scholar-Athlete. Peteu will earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
