Erika Gonzalez led the Purple Eagles in singles and doubles wins during the 2019-20 season. The Yopal, Colombia native posted career-high numbers with 12 singles wins, including going 7-3 in invitationals, while her and doubles partner Megan Gamble won a team-high nine doubles matches. Gonzalez, a sophomore, played in the No. 2 and 3 spot this season. She started the season winning six of her first eight singles matches including wins over St. Francis (PA), Fairleigh Dickinson, St. Bonaventure, and Rider. She played the final six matches of the season in the two spot, including winning two of her last three matches. Gonzalez and Gamble were Niagara's no. 1 doubles team.
