The Barcelona, Spain native was having a career season for the Purple Eagles as he led the team with 12 singles win. He won seven invitational matches and was unbeaten in dual matches playing in the four and six spots. Padro started the season on a six-match win streak in singles with wins over opponents from Bucknell and Rider, and won nine of the first 10 matches.
He won his singles matches in Niagara's wins over Rider, Daemen, Bloomsburg and Lafayette.
In the season-opening invitational, Padro claimed the Bucknell Invitational "C" championship title. He won three of his last four matches, including his last two matches. He picked up a straight set win in Niagara's 5-2 victory over Lafayette which was the Purple Eagles' final match of the season.  
Padro, who is majoring in integrated management, accounted for six wins in doubles, including going 3-0 in two doubles.
