Victoria Rampado surpassed the 1,000 point mark in the Purple Eagles' 61-45 loss to the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Thursday.

Game Recap
- The Purple Eagles and the Bobcats kept things close in the first quarter. Stroemple had six straight points for Niagara and NU trailed by only one point, 7-6, with over four minutes to play in the quarter.
- Four points from Rampado to close out the quarter, including her 1,000th point as a Purple Eagle with about three seconds remaining, gave Niagara a 14-11 lead going into the second quarter.
- The Bobcats bounced back in the second quarter, taking a quick lead over the Purple Eagles and maintaining it through the rest of the quarter. Niagara trailed Quinnipiac, 30-24, going into halftime.
- Consecutive threes from Morgan Baughman in the third quarter put the Purple Eagles behind by only three points, 35-32, with a little under seven and a half minutes remaining in the quarter. The Bobcats, however, held onto their lead and were ahead 43-36 going into the fourth quarter.
- Despite seven points from Rampado in the fourth quarter, Quinnipiac continued to pull away from the Purple Eagles and came away with the victory.
Inside the Numbers
- Rampado led the Purple Eagles in scoring with 17 points and became the 22nd player in Niagara women's basketball history to reach 1,000 points. Rampado also brought down a team-high eight rebounds.
- Stroemple added 10 points for Niagara and Tiffany Corselli had four rebounds.
- Maggie McIntyre and Jamie Sherburne led the Purple Eagles in assists with five each, which is a career-high for McIntyre.
- Sherburne had a team-best three steals, her season-high.
