Came out of the bullpen in 14 games and pitched 12.2 innings…notched 12 strikeouts…pitched scoreless innings against Norfolk State (2/26), Saint Peter’s (3/26), Rider (4/2), Manhattan (4/14), and Mount St. Mary’s (5/20)…named MAAC All-Academic

Did not compete in the 2022 season due to injury

2020 (Sophomore)
Made four appearances on the mound...Fanned three in 4.2 innings pitched.

2019 (Freshman)
Made eight appearances and one start on the mound…Struck out six in 11.2 innings pitched

Before Niagara
Theal joins the Purple Eagles from A.N. Myer in Niagara Falls, Ont....Theal pitched in the Canadian Premier Baseball League in 2018 and was on the leaderboard for ERA...He also led his high school's pitching staff in strikeouts and ERA and led the Canisius Junior Griffs in innings pitched and ERA in 2017...Theal was a Perfect Game All-Tournament Team selection...He led in innings pitched for two provincial championship teams and was the 2016 MVP for his regional team...Played at the club level for the Great Lake Canadians and coaches Adam Stern and Chris Robinson.
