Why Niagara?
“I chose Niagara because it was close to home and it has excellent academic programs. Also, Niagara has small class sizes and the professors are very personable.”
2013 (Senior)
Finished within team’s top-5 in every race...scored as the team’s #2 runner on two occasions...top-10 finish at Canisius College Invitational...made Niagara’s MAAC Championship and NCAA Regional squads...posted team’s third fastest times in the 5k (20:03) and 6k (23.48)...set personal best in 6k...was named to MAAC All-Academic team.
2012 (Junior)
Finished in NU's top-5 in all six races of 2012...finished 13th overall with a 24:33 finish at the Slippery Rock Invitational.
2011 (Sophomore)
Competed in all seven races again as a sophomore...ran a personal best 19:32 in the Little Three Championship for a sixth place finish..
2010 (Freshman)
Ran in all seven meets as a freshman, including a seventh-place finish at the 2010 Little Three Invitational.

Born in Sanborn, N.Y...Daughter of Michael and Janeen Schmidt...Has a brother, Stephen...Majoring in criminal justice and psychology.
