The 2019 track and field season will be the first for Dan Egan at Niagara University. Egan will assist head coach Christine Kloiber with the men's and women's cross country teams and will also help coach the track team's distance runners.

A native of East Aurora, N.Y., Egan ran cross country at St. Bonaventure University for four seasons under head coach Bob MacFarlane. While running for the Bonnies, Egan earned his Bachelor's degree in biology and graduated in 2015

Egan is also a member of the WNY Track and Field Officials Association and is a USATF certified official. He has served as an official at many local and national meets including the 2018 NCAA DIII National Championships.
