Biography

Why Niagara?: "I chose Niagara because it had a really strong education program and a really good learning atmosphere. I was also given the opportunity to continue to play softball and I thought the team and coaches were a perfect fit for me."

On The Diamond: Named to the 2009 All-MAAC Second Team as well as the 2009 MAAC All-Academic Team...Started all 49 games for the Purple Eagles while accumulating a team leading 37 RBI’s and was second on the team in HR’s with nine...Played in only 21 games due to injury in 2008...Recorded nine runs, 11 hits and a home run as a freshman.

Personal: Born in Albany, N.Y....Daughter of Jack and Carie Hines...Has two sisters, Kelsey and Taylor...Enrolled in the academic exploration program.
