Biography
Why Niagara?: "I decided that I wanted to stay close to home to earn my degree and to continue my diving career with a great group of people."
In The Pool: Earned MAAC All-Academic honors in 2009 and 2010...Did not compete during the 2009-10 season...Won the one meter and three meter diving events at the 2009 MAAC Championships, qualifying for ECAC’s in both events...2009 MAAC Championship Diver of the Meet...Won the one meter dive and finished second in the three meter dive at the 2009 ECAC Championship meet...Won Diver of the Meet at the 2009 ECAC’s...Holds all four Niagara diving records...Competed in the NCAA Zones diving during his first two seasons...Finished second in the one meter dive and fourth in the three meter dive at the 2008 MAAC Championships...Qualified for the 2008 ECAC Championships.
Personal: Born in Rochester, N.Y.…Son of James and Ann O’Rourke...Has a younger brother, Shawn....Majoring in sport management.
