King joins the Purple Eagles following a decorated swimming career that spans both Siena College and Canisius University. Most recently at Canisius, she played a pivotal role in setting a program record as part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships. Throughout her graduate season, King consistently placed in the top three in 12 events, including 10 individual performances.

During her undergraduate career at Siena, King established herself as both an exceptional athlete and scholar. She was a multiple MAAC All-Academic Team selection and broke the school record in the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:42.11) at the 2020 MAAC Championships. Her individual achievements include reaching the finals in the 500-yard freestyle and securing All-MAAC honors in both the 500-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle events.
