Why Niagara?
"Niagara has many opportunities for me – not just athletically but academically as well. It’s a small university so I’m able to get help from the professors, everyone knows each other on campus so it won’t be hard to find help, and everyone’s friendly to each other. I chose Niagara also because of my athletic opportunities. The coaches are amazing. They all have the right mindset for winning and improving, they take care of the players and the take care of business. I get to prove my talents against other Division I athletes and coaches. I hope one day I can repay my thanks for the university and hope they can continue to give other students the opportunities they’ve given me.”

Before Niagara:
Played defensive back and wide receiver for the Oxford High School (Oxford, Mich.) football team… 2017 season All-County Football Player of the Year…2017 All-State MVP…Three-time All-State honoree (2014, 2016, 2017)…Four-time Special Teams Player of the Year (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)…Played for the Vardar Soccer Club.

Born in Apia, Samoa...Son of Jennifer and Jason Mielnicki, and brother of Brennan and Makayla...Favorite athletes include Odell Beckham, Jr. and his father…Majoring in biochemistry.
