Quick Profile: Talsma is a 6-foot-1 back from Grimsby, Ontario where he attended Smithville Christian while also playing club for the WNY Flash…he averaged 12 goals per season at Smithville Christian…was named Athlete of the Year and a Soccer All-Star…was also an All-Region selection in basketball and volleyball…was a team captain…2022 Canada Youth Cup All-Star.
 
In the Classroom: Honor Roll student… plans to major in education and become a high school teacher.
 
Off the Pitch: Son of Terry and Lisa…has two siblings, Melissa and Jayden… enjoys camping and fishing.
 
Why Niagara: "I choose Niagara because it is close to home and it gives me the opportunity to play a high level of soccer alongside other great players and with a great coaching staff."
 
Boyle on Talsma: "Jeremy Talsma comes to us from Grimsby Ontario where he has played for great clubs, and recently joined WNY Flash in Buffalo.  He graduates from Smithville Christian playing 3 sports.  His athletic ability will give us another player to compete at the center-back position, and he will be up for the challenge.  He is currently coached by former player and alum Bautista Pedezert.  I am very excited to see his development continue as his ceiling is super high."
