Why Niagara?
“The style of play at Niagara along with what I envision to play seems to fit. I have high hopes for the team, seeing a large improvement in the teams overall behaviour and results. I have a brother on the team, Matthew Ferguson.  Being able to reunite at the next level was also a major part of why I chose Niagara. The school education aspect is held in high regard, and the teammates I will be spending my last two years with also create a sense of family within the camp. The coach Eric Barnes has showed high hopes for me, giving me a large sense of trust and confidence, which I love to see in my coach.”

Before Niagara
Played two seasons with the Marshall University Thundering Herd where he registered five goals and three assists in 26 games. ..Ranked as high as the No. 55 freshman in the nation by topdrawersoccer.com during the 2012 season…Prior to Marshall was team captain of the DPS Soccer Academy from 2006-11, leading the team in scoring in 2011…Named Cardinal Newman High School Soccer Player of the Year in 2009…Named MVP at Cardinal Newman in 2011 after helping the Express to a GHAC Championship.

Born in Burlington, Ont…Son of Paul and Loriann Ferguson…Has one brother, Matthew, who is a sophomore defender/midfielder on the Niagara men’s soccer team…Majoring in business.
