Biography

2020-21:
The forward played in 18 games as a redshirt junior, totaling eight goals, seven assists and 15 points on the year. Sommer scored two goals against Mercyhurst on Dec. 18. He was tied for the team lead with two power-play goals. Scored the game-winning goal during game three of the AHA Quarters against Robert Morris, sending Niagara to the AHA Semifinals for the second time in three years. He scored the team's lone goal in the semi's loss to AIC.


Before Niagara:
Played 53 games over two seasons at Air Force...Registered 19 points (10 G, 9 A) as a Falcon...Won 2018 Atlantic Hockey championship...Registered one assist against Robert Morris in the 2018 AHA championship game.
