Was named to the 2018-19 AHA All-Academic Team…Played in six games during his first season as a Purple Eagle; scoring one goal, one assist and seven blocks…Scoring his first collegiate goal and season-high with four blocks in his season debut at Penn State (Oct. 19)…Season-high with one assist vs. Holy Cross (Nov. 9)…Finished the season with 10 shots and a .100 shooting percentage.
Before Niagara:
Kleysen skated for the West Kelowna Warriors (BCHL) in 2017-18, where he finished with 20 points (6 G, 14 A) in 47 games...Following the season, Kleysen was named a Top Defensemen Award winner, Humanitarian Award winner and Best Overall Player honoree for Warriors...Tried out for Team Canada West in 2016...Rookie of the Year for Winnipeg Blues in 2015.
