Why Niagara?
“I chose Niagara becauseI wanted to come back to Western New York after going to high school in Minnesota. I think the small school mentality will help me excel on the ice and in the classroom as well.”
2013-14
Scored a career-high four goals and added six assists for 10 points in 24 games as a junior...Recorded a three-point evening against Canisius (2/8)...Was tied for second on the team with a pair of power play goals...Put 50 shots on net and blocked 22 shots.
2012-13
Played in 22 games, scoring a goal and added five assists for six points...Finished the season with a plus-one ranking and 21 shots.
2011-12
Scored three goals and nine assists for 12 points in 29 games...Tallied his first collegiate goal against then No. 16 Colgate on Oct. 28, 2011...Finished the season second on the Purple Eagles with a plus-nine ranking...Took 44 shots.
Before Niagara
With the Lincoln Stars (USHL) during the 2010-11 season, Alfieri scored 10 goals, 24 assists and 34 points in 60 games. The forward also saw plenty of time on the power-play last year, notching three goals, eight assists and 11 points while on the man advantage.
