Before Niagara:
The Madison, Wisc. native is no stranger to Western New York as he started his junior career in the OJHL playing for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres. Following a season in the OJHL he started his NAHL career with the Austin Bruins, in his first season he played in 42 games and scored twice and added ten assists. The next season he played with the Minnesota Wilderness of the NAHL and scored once in 56 games while having 41 assists.
