Biography

As A Junior: Played in only 28 games due to a jaw injury suffered against North Dakota (Oct. 25)…Ranked third on the team in scoring with 14 goals and 16 assists (30 pts.)…Recorded six multiple-point games…Season high three points against Findlay (Jan. 18), Canisius (Jan. 25) and Alabama-Huntsville (March 8)…Netted two goals against Canisius (Jan. 23) and Alabama-Huntsville (March 8)…Scored the game-winning goal and only short-handed goal vs. Findlay (Feb. 18).

 

As A Sophomore: Appeared in 34 games, including all CHA league games…Registered two goals and 15 assists for 17 points…Ended season with plus/minus rating of +1…Had 68 shots on goal…Scored one power-play goal…Totaled 16 penalty minutes…Awarded the team’s “Claw” Award as the team’s unsung hero.

 

As A Freshman: Scored 12 goals and six assists for 18 points…Finished 10th in the CHA with eight goals in league play…Finished second in the CHA in short-handed points with two and finished tied for the lead in short-handed goals with two…Finished sixth in the CHA in freshman scoring with 11 points…Named the Most Valuable Player of the Syracuse Invitational Tournament after he notched three goals and one assist in two games…Tied for the team lead in goals and short-handed goals…Named CHA Co-Offensive Player of the Week (Nov. 27)…Played in 30 games…Registered 79 shots on goal and 12 penalty minutes…Had a plus/minus rating of +4…Scored one power-play goal, two short-handed goals, one empty-net goal and one game-winning goal…Tallied his first career hat trick vs. Findlay (Feb.  3)…Had two two-point games and one three-point game…Scored his first career goal against the Air Force Academy (Oct. 27)

 

Before Niagara: Played for the St. Catharines Falcons in the Golden Horseshoe Junior B Hockey League (GHJHL) during the 1999-00 season…Named to the Golden Horseshoe All-Star Team that competed against the Mid-Western Junior B Hockey League (MWJHL) All-Stars…Ranked third among goal scorers in the Golden Horseshoe and led the league with five hat tricks…Led the team in points and goals…Named the Falcons’ Most Valuable Player…Registered 35 goals and 28 assists for 63 points in 48 regular-season games…Attended Kenmore East High School.
