Biography

2020-21:
Saw action between the pipes in three games during the 2020-21 season, finishing with a goals-against average of 6.10 and save percentage of .757. Recorded a season-high 14 saves against RIT on Dec. 22

2019-20:
Wilson appeared in 16 games and finished the year with a .916 save percentage. Wilson was also the team's nominee for the prestigious Hobey Baker Award.

2018-19:
Was named Goalie of the Week by AHA (Oct. 30) was named Goalie of the Month of October by AHA…Kept RIT of the board and helped Niagara move to the AHA Champion Game…Was named to the 2018-19 AHA All-Academic Team…Played in 31 games during his second season as a Purple Eagle, going 15-14-5 in those appearance…Led team goaltenders in minutes with 2080:07…Recorded a .910 SV% and a 2.77 GAA…Earned his first full-game shutout this season at Air Force Falcons (Oct. 25) in a 5-0 Purple Eagle victory.

2017-18:
Played in 31 of Niagara's 36 games, going 9-19-2 in those appearances...Led team goaltenders in minutes with 1809:23...Recorded a .900 SV% and a 2.72 GAA...Entered game in relief and held Sacred Heart scoreless for 57:07 to give the Purple Eagles a 3-2 comeback win in just his second-ever collegiate game (Oct. 28)...Earned his first full-game shutout at Holy Cross (Jan. 20) in a 6-0 Niagara victory.

Before Niagara:
Played the 2016-17 season with the Powell River Kings of the BCHL under head coach Kent Lewis. In 38 games, Wilson posted a record of 22-11-1, ranking sixth in the BCHL with a 2.70 goals-against average, fifth with a .917 save percentage, and tied for third with three shutouts. Wilson stepped his game up in the postseason, leading all BCHL goaltenders in both goals-against average (1.99) and save percentage (.938), going 7-4 with two shutouts. Wilson earned the Kings’ Unsung Hero award for his contributions to the team.
 
In the 2015-16 season, Wilson went 9-8-1 in goal in 18 games with the Okotoks Oilers (AJHL) with a 2.96 goals-against average, .900 save percentage, and one shutout. He began his junior hockey career with 50 games for the Kanata Stallions in the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) from 2014 to 2016.
