Did not compete due to COVID-interrupted season.. Awarded “Taps Gallagher” Sportsmanship Team Award at Purple Eagle Award Show...SAAC team representative.
2019 (Junior)
3rd scorer for team at Yellowjacket Invitational…2nd scorer for team at Paul Short Invitational with new personal best (28:01)…4th scorer for team at Canisius Alumni Classic…5th scorer for team at MAAC Championship…NCAA Regional competitor. MAAC All-Academic team.
2018 (Sophomore)
Competed in all five meets...Ran fastest 8k of the season (30:24) at MAAC Championships (Oct. 26).
Before Niagara:
Swoboda was a New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Scholar-Athlete as a member of the cross country, track and tennis teams at Schuylerville High School...Three-time cross country championship qualifier...Two-time cross country team captain...Ran in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 1 mile and 3k steeplechase...Selected to the Foothills League Second Team and honorable mention teams as a senior... Swoboda was a member of he National Honors Society and was on the honor roll every year.
