Played and started in 29 games in her lone season with the Purple Eagles…averaged 23.6 minutes per game along with a career high 5.8 points per game…tallied 74 steals while averaging 2.6 steals per game which was third in the MAAC…averaged 3.2 rebounds per game…had a season high 15 points against Manhattan on 12/31/22
Before Niagara
O’Neil spent the last two seasons at Saint Peter’s, where she helped the Peacocks to a MAAC Championship title game appearance in 2021. During the 2021-22 season, O’Neil played in 31 games and started in 27. She averaged 3.9 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game, while also adding 2.1 assists per game 1.4 steals per game. In her two seasons with the Peacocks, O’Neil played in 58 games and averaged 2.4 points per game and 1.9 rebounds per game. She also added 1.3 assists per game and 1.0 steal per game. Prior to Saint Peter’s, O’Neil spent one season at Vincennes University and one season at Niagara County Community College (NCCC). While at NCCC, she helped the Thunderwolves to a 30-1 record and a 2019 NJCAA Region III Division II Championship. O’Neil was a selection to the All-Tournament Team. O’Neil attended high school at Cardinal O’Hara, and will be one of five O’Hara grads (Angel Parker, Aaliyah Parker, Amelia Strong, Jade Rutledge) on the NU squad. O’Neil helped the O’Hara team to four consecutive Monsignor Martin Catholic League Championship titles.
