Monte is the Niagara University Purple Eagles official mascot. He wears the number 56 to recognize the year 1856, or the year Niagara University was established. He can be seen welcoming and high-fiving fans of all ages at basketball and hockey games, and can also be seen “flying” around at many university sponsored events. You also can’t help but see our custom-made inflatable Monte. He is 20 feet high and filled with purple pride!
