Why Niagara?
"Niagara is close to home, which I loved. The academic program is rigorous, which is important to me. I also had a great connection with the coaches and I really like the way  they are pushing the program forward. Finally, I know a lot of people that attend the school and they also happen to be some of my closest friends."

Before Niagara
Johnson had two successful seasons at Davidson College...In her sophomore season (2015-16), Johnson was second on the team in free throw percentage (.80), third in 3-point field goal percentage (.31) and third in overall field goal percentage (.39)...She averaged 4.2 points per game and 1.2 rebounds per game...In her freshman season (2014-15), Johnson appeared in 19 games, which included her first career start at Winthrop on Dec. 13, 2014...She finished the season averaging 3.9 points per game and 1.4 rebounds per game...Johnson was a three-year starter at Gates Chili High School, where she was leading scorer in her senior season with 18 points per game...She was named to both First Team All-County and First Team All-Greater Rochester at the conclusion of the season...She also competed at the club level with the Rochester Warriors and Baseline Elite, as well as joining Niagara teammate Adila Gathers as part of the Rochester Revolution.
