Why Niagara?:
"When I visited the campus, I felt right at home. The students and faculty that I ran into seemed really excited and happy to be there. The basketball team seems to be really close and I can't wait to be a part of it. Not to mention that the campus is beautiful."
2015-16 (Junior)
Appeared in 26 games and made seven starts...Scored a career-high nine points against Buffalo on Dec. 21 and at St. Bonaventure on Dec. 23...Recorded a career-best eight rebounds against Buffalo...Finished the season averaging 2.8 points per game and 1.6 rebounds per game.
2014-15 (Sophomore)
Appeared in 17 games as a sophomore…Scored a career-high five points against Manhattan (Dec. 7).
2013-14 (Freshman)
Appeared in nine games…Scored her fist NCAA points with four against Quinnipiac (2/1)…Pulled in five rebounds, had one steal, and three assists.
Before Niagara
Granruth comes to Niagara after a well-decorated career with the Wakefield Owls in The Plains, Va. and the PSPA Rams, her AAU team...On top of being an All-Conference cross country runner in each of her four years, she is the all-time scoring leader for the Owls girls’ basketball program and accumulated 11 total individual awards...She was named team MVP in both her sophomore and junior years, First Team All-Cavalier Athletic Conference as a freshman and junior, as well as to the First Team All-Delaney Athletic Conference in 2010...Granruth was also recognized by the state in 2011 and 2012 when she was honored by the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association who named the guard to the All-State First Team and All-Tournament Team.
